The colour of Flaxseed 

Flax seeds are normally found in brown and yellowish golden colour.It is smaller in size.It has nutritious value.Golden colour flax seeds tender to have a slightly milder flavor compared to brown flax seeds.

Flax seeds are smaller in size and it has flat,oval-shaped seeds with a smooth,shiny surface.These are usually brown or golden in colour.It has a slightly pointed tip at one end.

There are two types of flax seeds 

1.BROWN FLAX SEEDS -It is most common seeds, slightly nutty flavor,and high in Omega 3 fatty acids, normally used in salads,baking, smoothies etc.

2.GOLDEN FLAX SEEDS -These seeds are milder,and slightly sweeter in taste,but similar nutritional profile to brown flax seeds, preferred in some recipes.
