Edible oils are extracted from various plant sources,seeds,nuts,and animal fats.These oil serve as a primary cooking medium and contribute to flavor, texture,and nutritional value in food.Edible oils are an essential part of human nutrition and culinary practice worldwide.The choice of edible oil can impact health,as different oils contain varying levels of essential fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants.choosing the right edible is essential for maintaining overall health and preventing lifestyle diseases.Itbis very important for us to understand that which oil is best for nutritional benefits.

Types of Edible Oils 

1.Nut and Seeds Edible Oils- Nuts and seeds edible oils are plant based oils extracted from various nuts and seeds, commonly used in cooking, baking and food preparation.These oil are rich in healthy fats, vitamins,and antioxidants, making them a nutritious choice for a balanced diet.Popular nut oils including almond oil, walnut oil and macadamia oil, known for their distnict flavors and high monounsaturated fat content .Seed oils such as sunflower oil, sesame oil,flaxseed oil,and pumpkin seeds oil,are valued for their Omega -3 and Omega- 6 fatty acids,which supports heart health and overall well being.Depending on their extraction method,cold pressed or refined these oils may retain more natural nutrients and flavors or have a higher smoke point suitable for frying and high heat cooking.Nut and seeds oils are widely used in salads dressings, marinades, sauteing,and even skincare due to their moisturizing properties.
